Serial Post Liker

BEWARE. Do NOT pay her attention. There are others. But she is the worst. I see you others.

  1. Rebecca always READS my stuff when she likes it, so I’m okay with her being an avid reader.

  2. This is not who I expected it to be. If you sign me up for another newsletter, I’m never sending you anymore mail.

  3. LOL you got me. I like peoples posts. I also comment and reply. 🙂 Oh no!

  4. I’ve noticed people who do this! It’s irritating.

    • Yes. I may dedicate a day to each of them. Wish I could block them. Glad I’m not the only one who feels that way 🙂

      • All I can picture is an extremely zoned out person sitting at their computer screen and scrolling down endless pages of posts, clicking the like button, their expression never changing. Sad, sad people.

      • See, I think they are happy. Just happily clicking away singing some Michael Buble while they randomly like hoping to bring exposure to their blogs. I could be wrong. I often am.

      • I do think you can block my blog. Just click the little arrow on the right and put block. I think it keeps me from reading yours too. As I am a bit addicted to wordpress I do read a lot of posts but I really am sorry it upsets you. Please block me so I don’t accidently read your post and like them. I think the last one I read of yours was a shirt with a quote. Anyway if you need more help blocking me let me know.

      • I will not block you. You seem nice. Maybe just an addict like you said… like those people on Hoarders. Ever seen that show? It’s great. You would “like” it 🙂

      • LOL I like hoarders too. I am an addict. I am nice thus me sharing the love. It is up to you. I just really don’t mean to upset you in anyway. Anyway, happy posting. Won’t bug you anymore will try to restrain the liking of your post. (I think you can turn the button off too).

      • naa not about exposure to my blog. I get over a thousand views a day and tons of comments. I just feel the need to support other blogs because everyone is kind to me. That’s all.

      • Aw, now I feel bad… Just a little. You have to admit, when the same people “like” every one of your posts without ever commenting, it appears they only want attention, and “liking” a number of posts will increase those odds. Even a random visitor who previously commented on this post, agrees. See? You can still like my posts. You probably won’t after this, but you can.

      • Well I am sure there is something to that as well but that isn’t why I do it. I put hours of work into each of my posts to make people laugh. I know how much work goes into blogging and we don’t make money. We do it for the love of the art. So when I have time I go through and read and like as many as I can. Usually writing and poetry first because those two are the ones closest to my heart. Humor next and then food because I love to eat. But it just depends on what I have time for. If I don’t like or agree then I don’t hit the button. If I have more time I comment. I will like yours. Look I will even follow you 😉

      • Aw, hell, Rebecca. Why’d you have to be so damn nice? WHY?

I KNEW I should’ve used that Christian M.’s gravatar instead.

      • Awww because without this post we might have not gotten to know one another. So no worries.
