Ekphrastic Poem- I told my class I’d do it too.

 

Observe

Barren rooftops swallow sexy blondes after sunset, then spit them out like photo-op prom dates. The energy behind being used and liking it is relative. Pretty blondes nest on stoops and read novellas about how to regain their lives where old boyfriends left off, how to pick up the pieces when the pieces are made of puddles of memory, and how to recognize the difference between jealous lovers, and sympathetic fire escapes.
