What…? The Pushcart Prize…?

I was recently informed Daniel, editor at Bananafish, nominated me for the
Pushcart Prize! Can things get any better?  Originally the piece of writing he
selected was an exercise from my mentor at Antioch Richard Garcia.  We were
to write a No Respect (based of Rodney Dangerfield) poem chronicling how
bad our lives were.  I’m not sure how to categorize my piece, but I’m happy
with how it came it out, and honored to be nominated.  Here is “Kiss and Tell.”
